MISSON STATEMENT

Our mission is to enhance our quality of life by maintaining our common areas and upholding our city ordinances. We encourage and support an association of neighbors who voluntarily work together for a cleaner, safer and overall better neighborhood that protects property values.


COMMON NEIGHBORHOOD VIOLATIONS that plague a neighborhood can be found in:

Chapter 12  Environment (high weeds, litter, trash, illegal stored items etc)

Section 12-83  Swimming pools with stagnant, dirty water

Section 27-395  parking on front lawn is prohibited

Old Bellwood is an East Montgomery gem! Its sits between Bellwood and Woodmere neighborhoods. The community comprises approximately 500 beautiful custom built homes. Residents are within walking distance of parks, trails, bike and jogging paths at Blount Cultural Park and Woodmere.  We are located approximately 8.7 miles from downtown Montgomery, 2.8 miles from Shoppes at Eastchase, residents of Old Bellwood enjoy a quiet but active lifestyle with nearby museums, shopping, restaurants, and nightlife.

Old Bellwood is located in Montgomery County, Council District 9. we are bounded by Vaughn Rd on the south, Bell Rd on the east, Interstate 85 on the north East Boulevard sits west.

The neighborhood is divided into five zones, each with an Area Representative and Block Captains. We are served by the Montgomery Police Department East Division.
                                                                   
Be part of something great!   There are so many reasons to join and no reason not to! 

You don't have to socialize, although we have a great time when we do. You don't have to serve on any committees or do any work, although you are always welcome to join us in any of the many projects, events, and activities we have on the agenda. 

There is truly something for everyone, even if all you want to do is know there are committed neighborhood volunteers who actively work to protect and preserve the beauty and high level of desirability that our neighborhood enjoys

All residents are encouraged to attend our Homeowners Association meetings.

Old Bellwood is committed to Neighborhood Watch a crime prevention initiative aimed at protecting you, your property and entire neighborhoods.

This initiative also reduces the fear of crime in our community, greater vigilance improves the environment, fosters community spirit and encourages you to be a good neighbor.
